The UMN guest account expires 1 year from the date the account was created or reset. You can login into http://my-account.umn.edu/ to see when your password is set to expire. UMN will send automatic emails several times prior to the expiration date as a reminder to update your password. 


Verify The Email Address

These emails will come from the Identity Management Team with the email address accounts@umn.edu. They contain directions for resetting your password. These directions are also in the article: How do I reset my password?


Did Your Password Expire?

If you forget to change your password before the expiration date, you will not lose any information or records. You will have to contact UMN IT at 612-301-4357. This number is available 24/7. 


Make sure to specify that this is for a MN Child Welfare Training Academy guest account so you are routed appropriately. Do not create a new guest account.
