Resetting your Password
Step 1: Go to my-account.umn.edu.
Step 2: Select the "Forgot your password?" link under the PASSWORD entry field.

Step 3: Enter your work email address (or school email address if you are a Title IV Scholar). 
Step 4: Select the "Submit" button.
Step 5: Follow the onscreen instructions on my-account.umn.edu to finish resetting your password.
Note: Passwords Expire
The UMN guest account password expires one year from the date the account was created or reset. If you forgot to change your password by the expiration date, please submit a Help Desk ticket through the Contact Us page.
What if I no longer have access to my previous email?
If you no longer have access to the email in your UMN guest account, please submit a Help Desk ticket through the Contact Us page.
If you need additional assistance, submit a ticket on the Contact Us page. If you do not get an email confirming your ticket has been received, follow the steps in the Help Desk: No Response article.
