Once you have completed your IDI Assessment, you will need to notify the IDI team by completing the quiz in your Canvas course.


  1. Go into your Canvas course and select Modules on the left side.Canvas homepage with an arrow pointing at the Modules tab.   
  2. Scroll down to the "IDI Next Steps Module" and select "Attest Completion of IDI Assessment".
    • Note: Before you can access the IDI Next Steps Module, you must complete Modules 1-8 and the Mandated Reporter Training. To track your progress, refer to this help article for instructions on how to check if you've finished all the required modules. Canvas module page showing the Attest Completion of IDI Assessment
  3. Select the "Take the Quiz" button. 
  4. Enter the date you completed the assessment in the textbox and select "Submit Quiz".Screenshot of the textbox and Submit Quiz button. 

After submitting your quiz, a Qualified Administrator (QA) staff member will be reviewing and grading your submission to ensure you completed the assessment successfully. This may take 1-3 business days


Once the quiz is graded, you will receive an email notification and you can go back into your Canvas course to Schedule your IDI debrief session.

  • Note: If any requirements are missing, you’ll receive a Canvas email notification outlining what you must complete before moving forward.
