Introduction:
Part of the Training Academy’s mission is not only to make sure learners and supervisors are connected on training progress, but also to maintain accurate reports. As a supervisor, you may get requests from employees to add you as their supervisor. Below are the steps to follow when you receive such a request.
Steps for Supervisors
Step 1: “Accept” or “Decline” your employee’s request via your training portal alert notifications
When your employees add you as their supervisor to their Training Portal Profile, you will receive an email notification to accept or decline their request.
Follow the steps in the email
When you log in to your Training Portal, you will see a new alert notification. Click on the exclamation icon
Click “accept” if the request is accurate to your knowledge.
Click “decline” if there has been an error. Contact your employee to confirm if needed.
Step 2: If you accept the request
The employee will be automatically added to your list of employees and you can assign/view their training.
Go to “Quick Navigations” → My Employees
3. If for any reason you need to remove an employee, click on the red person icon on the far right next to the employee’s name
Step 3: If you decline the request
The employee will be notified that you declined the request. Please connect with each other to confirm the information.
