As a partner with the University of Minnesota (UMN), the Training Academy is able to leverage the University’s technology, security, and support for each user account. A UMN Guest Account is compatible with the applications used to build and support the Training Portal, as well as the learner management system (Canvas) that workers and supervisors will need to access. In essence, your UMN guest account is your access into training courses and the Training Portal.
A few things to note:
- U of M Guest Accounts are different from U of M staff/student email addresses (that end in umn.edu/d.umn.edu). U of M Guest Accounts give you the option to use your current work or county email address to create an account to access our Training Portal.
- Please note: unless your work email address is a U of M staff/student email account, do not use it.
- If you attended a conference or event hosted by the U of M in the past, it is possible that you already created a Guest Account. If that’s the case, try logging in to your guest account with your email and password. You can also reset your password by clicking “forgot your password”.
