IV-E BSW/MSW Coordinators can connect with their students in the Training Portal. Students can have a coordinator and a supervisor connected to their portal profiles at the same time.

Add your Students to your Coordinator Portal Profile

NOTE: Students must already have a profile in order for you to add them. 


Step 1. Create a Portal Profile if you don't already have one

Step 2: Invite students that have a portal profile to connect with your portal

  • In the Quick Navigation feature, select "Invite Employees".

  • Enter the student's exact Portal Profile email in the text box (click "add another" to invite several students at once).
    • NOTE - some students are using a personal email instead of their school for their portal profiles. Check to make sure you're adding the correct email.

  • Your students will receive an email with directions to accept the invitation and connect to your profile.  

Step 3: Assign trainings to your students

  • Using the Quick Navigation feature, select "Assign Trainings".Screenshot of arrow pointing to the "Assign Trainings" dropdown option

  • Check the box next to the training you wish to assign.Screenshot of a course name with a check box on the left.

  • Your students will have to finish enrolling in the course before you can view the enrollment record on your profile.

Step 4: View student course enrollments

  • Use the Quick Navigations feature to select "My Employees".Screenshot of an arrow pointing to the "my employees" dropdown option. 
  • Click a student name to view their enrollment activity.
  • Click "Show Activities" button.

Step 5: When your students graduate, remove them from your Portal Profile

  • Visit your training portal.
  • Use the Quick Navigations feature.
  • Select My Employees.
  • Find the name of students you are ready to remove.
  • Click the "remove" button next to their name.
